In 2018 The City of Ottawa launched a program which aims to have building owners throughout the city complete the installation of Backflow Prevention Devices. These devices are installed to prevent a building’s contaminated water to enter the city’s drinking water should the flow of water reverse for any reason.
Lar-Mex currently has certified plumbers and designers who can survey the system and provide solutions and installation of backflow prevention devices. With more employees receiving their accreditations regularly, we provide our clients with their compliance of this program within the prescribed deadlines.
